| $1899 | Fantastic and georgeous Lladro figurine titled "Mermaid on Wave". This very large and VERY RARE figurine (16.5 inches tall) is in immaculate condition and depicts a nude Mermaid body surfing on a crashing wave. The figurine has her hair floating as if beneath the sea. This figurine was created in 1978 by Vincente Martinez and was retired in 1983. It is very collectable but very hard to find. When it was issued it was called in Spanish "Sirena Sobre Ola". This is an extremely rare figurine and retails, if you can find it, for between $2500 and $3000. It is model number 1347 on the Lladro fantasy section. No box is available. |
