Italy was the place to go for enjoying classic art and romanticism. In ref.1350 Lladro has depicted one of these young couples, dressed as XIX fashion enjoying the ride in a venetian gondola. Confirming the setting to be Venice, Italy, the gondolier leads the boat, with its typical uniform of striped t-shirt and straw hat. Such a complex piece, so large, with so many characters, scene details, engravings and porcelain flowers, builds one of the best wedding gifts possible. Numbered series.
