$51	Lovely Lladro, Thursday's Child. It is in mint condition: free of chips, cracks, or repairs. It measures 7.5" tall. Its current secondary market price is $345. It was originally purchased for $240. The collector kept the original box which is in excellent condition with just some tape which all Lladros have from the factory.
$50	LLADRO, a porcelain factory in Spain, has been creating amazing figures collected by discriminating artists around the world for decades. Over the years many other companies have tried to copy their art but none have ever been able to come close to their artists’ quality and expertise. To own one of their pieces is always a joy and as a plus, over the years its value increases – especially if it is retired from production. This particular Lladro is: #6017 with glazed finish - MINT TITLED: "Thursday's Child" DIMENSIONS: 7.5"H, 3.25"WARTIST: Juan Huerta ISSUED: 1992 RETIRED: 1997 BONUS: Personally signed by M.C. LLADRO on 5/10/93: 1984, Rosa, Mari Carmen and Juan Vicente Lladró joined the company. One child of each of the founding members. They underwent a long apprenticeship before they were permitted responsibility in the company. This darling figure depicts a boy and his dog probably on his way to school (with backpack).
