Description:

An aerial piece. At first sight, one would think that the bird is in motion, as if suspended in the air. The feeling was extremely difficulty to achieve, also with the large flowers which have a very small point of support. The roughness of the trunk contrasts with the smoothness of the flowers. The hummingbird is a small American bird with brightly colored feathers. Its nest is as small as a thimble and it is the only bird capable of flying backwards. The color, grace, and speed of the flight of hummingbirds are unique features among the wide range of birds existing in the earth.
